Practical understanding
Bring technical experience and first-hand clinic ownership to the decisions behind the product.
Business management software shaped by the realities of running an appointment-based business.
Ordime began with the day-to-day work of running a clinic: the appointments, the clients, the treatment details, the team, the stock and the billing.
That clinic experience, backed by a strong background in IT, is the foundation of an independent Australian business building software close to the people who use it.
I spent more than a decade owning and operating a skin clinic. I know how much has to happen around every appointment: looking after clients, supporting the team, managing stock, keeping the calendar moving and making sure the numbers add up.
Before the clinic, I worked in IT for close to 15 years, and I still take on occasional IT work today. That background gives me a practical understanding of technology alongside first-hand experience of the business it needs to support. Ordime brings those two parts of my working life together.
Over the years, I kept coming back to the same frustration: software could cover the basics yet still make everyday work harder than it needed to be. Acknowledging a problem was one thing; seeing a useful improvement arrive was another. That experience gave me a clear reason to build Ordime.
The aim is straightforward: keep the work connected, pay attention to the details and let the people using the software help shape its direction. My experience provides the foundation; the needs of other salons, clinics and aesthetic teams help it grow.
We are a small, hands-on operation based in Victoria, privately owned and operated. That independence gives us the freedom to stay close to our customers and put time into improvements that make a practical difference to their working day.
A useful product starts with listening - and carries that understanding into what gets built.
Your feedback helps us understand what needs to change and why. Suggestions, votes and real working examples give product decisions a practical foundation.
Share the problem you are trying to solve, how it affects your day and what would make the work easier.
Votes and conversations help us see which needs are shared across businesses and understand the detail behind each request.
We weigh demand, practical impact and feasibility when setting priorities. Every suggestion can inform the direction, even when it cannot be built straight away.
